Recruiting: Director

Dear Members,  

As Chair, I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to all our members, for the enthusiasm and dedication Louise has given to the role of Director over the last five years. She has been genuinely inspirational and a fabulous ambassador for Christians on the Left in every forum. We fully support her decision to pass on the baton to a new Director to shape our next season, and Louise goes with all our prayers for her new role.

As the officers of the Executive Committee, we are excited to show you the job advert below for the role of Director of Christians on the Left. We would value your thoughts, suggestions and prayers over the next few weeks as we advertise, interview and select our next Director from prospective candidates. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, innovative, enthusiastic and who can lead our organisation into its next exciting chapter.

Christians on the Left Executive Committee 

Director

Contract type: Permanent, 3 days a week (0.6 FTE)

Location: It is expected that the role holder will work in Westminster part-time, but we welcome applications from individuals based outside of London.

Starting salary: £39k pro-rata.

Christians on the Left (CotL) is looking for a dynamic new director to provide leadership at an exciting time for the organisation. Throughout the challenges of the last two years, we have been encouraged to see our membership flourish, as Christians up and down the country have become engaged and enthused about how God might be calling them to work for his Kingdom in a political context. We have seen members elected to positions in local and national government, with many more stepping out into the political arena and standing for election.
