The Power of Prayer

Prayer is a cornerstone of Christians on the Left. 

Why not organise or join a short time of prayer and encouragement in your region? Using video conferencing online as well as physical meetings means we can share and encourage our members across the country and even across the world. You’ll find some ideas for prayers to use at your meeting below. Do let us know if you are organising something, it is great to have a sense of where and when our members are active and we can help promote your gathering.

We run a regular monthly prayer breakfast on Zoom for all our members: search your emails for “National Waterloo Prayer” or get in touch.

Every spring we have a dedicated Prayer Week and at both general elections 2017 and 2019 we published a Prayer Diary for our members with daily reflections. Whatever your idea of Prayer, we believe that it’s essential for our relationship with God, with the world and with politics.
